How We Work with Founders

1. The Pitch Meeting
We start with a sit-down conversation about your concept, your story, and your long-term vision. This is where you walk us through what you want to build and why you’re the one to do it.

2. Numbers on Paper
Next, we stress-test your idea on paper: pricing, food cost, labor, rent, and realistic sales. If the unit economics don’t work, we help you adjust the model until they do. If they can’t work, we won’t waste your time.

3. Testing in the Kitchen
When the numbers make sense, we move into the commissary kitchen. Together we test your menu or product, refine portions and workflow, and see how the concept behaves in a real production environment.

4. Seed Capital & Ownership Structure
If we both want to move forward, we negotiate a seed investment and ownership structure that aligns incentives for everyone. The goal is simple: a fair deal where founder, team, and Chagar Equity Food Works all win as the concept grows into multiple locations.
